Aaron is easily one of the most thoughtful and responsive hosts that we’ve ever had! There’s literally no detail he hasn’t thought about! Aaron asked us one day if there’s anything we thought we needed and I laughingly said “how about a serrated knifed for cutting bread”! Next day, boom! A whole new set of knives with not one but TWO serrated knives! lol. The home is in a great location with easily 2-3 of the very best restaurants in all of Charleston within just a few blocks! We highly recommend this property!
This was amongst are best and most memorable Airbnb experiences. The location was outstanding: walking distance to two of our favorite restaurants (Vern’s and Chubby Fish), The Nook was a great dog-friendly haven for morning coffee, a short walk to Hampton Park, and an outstanding host who truly cares about their guests. By happenstance, we met Aaron and Anna as we were checking out and they are even more delightful in-person. We would absolutely stay here again.
This place is the best !!! Aaron is the best !! Nothing else to say - but get this air bnb
Great property, clean and very well kept. Perfect location. This is our second summer to stay and would stay again. The landlord is helpful with any questions and issues.
Where do I start. I booked this home because my husband is very sick and has been in MUSC for the last 6 weeks. I can’t tell you how the host of this property worked with me and helped me through the last month. This person is an Angel on earth and I was so lucky to have found this property and was able to get the support that I desperately needed. The house is wonderful. Clean and very well furnished. I highly recommend this property to anyone that needs a long term rental in Charleston. I would have stayed as long as possible but it was rented. Very close to the hospital and restaurants. Thank you Aaron. You have been truly a lifesaver. God bless you.
Absolutely wonderful stay — highly recommend! I spent a month here for work and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The hosts were outstanding — responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly accommodating, even letting me arrive a day early when my schedule changed last minute. The home was spotless, comfortable, and in an ideal location — walking or biking distance to anywhere downtown. What stood out most was the attention to detail — it’s clear this isn’t just a side project for them. They’ve put real care into making the space feel both special and homey. Places like this are rare to find, and it’s worth every penny. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.
Great city location for walking to King street. Close to a very pretty park - Hampton Park. Lots of close restaurants and bars that are unique. Aaron was very responsive to any questions we had. Parking is tricky but typical for city location. WiFi was really great - easy to work at location.
This house was exceptionally clean! Everything was in place and looked exactly like the pictures taken. It was also very well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the living space was very comfortable. Our kids came and visited and we all were happy with how we were able to move freely and use the bathrooms comfortably. The showers had great pressure and were very clean. We give this house a five star rating!
It's a historic home as described, which is very cool, but also comes with it's quirks as most historic homes do (i.e. insulation, slanted floors, level changes). But, they've done a good job with the design and Aaron does an amazing job of providing everything you'd need to be comfortable from white noise machines (super helpful!) to lots of spots to put your clothes and items (so you don't have to live out of a suitcase) to multiple coffee options and a rice cooker (yay!). He's also really responsive and friendly, which was appreciated. We were there for an extended amount of time, so we really used the house to it's full capabilities and it worked great! The location is also great - just outside of the major part of downtown so it's less crowded and noisy, but in a nice, safe neighborhood with some fantastic restaurants (Vern's was a fave). Off-street parking was also a major plus for us, but it is on the tight side, so it works best for smaller cars. It was a good time!
My wife, dog, and I had an extended stay during the summer while waiting to purchase and move into our new home. Because we work remotely, we needed a place where we could have dedicated office spaces. This property was configured with desks & chairs in both extra bedrooms which makes life much easier if you are intending to work during your stay. The home is thoughtfully furnished with everything you might need for an extended stay. Being an older home, it definitely has its quirks and charms, but an ideal spot to be when visiting downtown! The location is central and easy to get pretty much anywhere. Quick & cheap Ubers to downtown and immediate access to 17 & 26. The best part of our stay, however, was the owner and his family. Extremely friendly, responsive, and helpful. Any (small) issues we encountered were handled quickly with great communication. I would 100% recommend this property to friends & family!
